DIY DECORATIVE BOWL
The first step is folding the sides up and clamping them into a loose X shape. To add more interest to the final bowl, I folded each of the loops in about half way to the center then clamped them as shown below. The spray I used was called Beacon Stiffen Stuff. I followed the directions on the bottle by spraying everything until it was wet. DIY BUNNY SPRING SIGN Pen. Painter’s tape. Hot glue gun. 3 buttons. Start out by painting your piece of wood light blue. While that’s drying, print out your bunny picture. I made a template for you, which you can download here. Position the template onto your wood and tape it into place. Now, use your pen to trace each bunny. MAGNET FISH CATCHING GAME Now that the fins are on, sew the eyes on. Do both simultaneously so that the body pieces are ‘pinned’ together, making sure that the body pieces match up well. Starting at the tail, sew ¾ of the way around the fish body with a 1/8” seam allowance. Half way through sewing the body together put 2 washers inside the fish body. NAUTICAL EMBELLISHED PICTURE FRAME Yay! It's May which just so happens to be my all time favorite month of the year! For several reasons I love this month, but one of them is that it means summer, boating, lakes, and warmer weather are just around the corner (I'm up here in Minnesota and we can have some brutal winters). To celebrate the fact that boating season will soon be upon us, today I'm sharing a quick and easy way to EASY VALENTINE-THEMED CANVAS ART Hello! It's Erin again, back from The Blue Eyed Dove. Let the trinket dish dry for about 20 minutes. 4. Place the trinket dish (es) on a cookie sheet, and bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. That’s it! Very easy, and very cost effective. It's Erin, back again from The Blue Eyed Dove. My sister is getting married this June and we are in full wedding festivity mode! Earlier this month we threw a bridal shower for her and decided to go with a bubbly, sparkly and floral theme. Mary Evett is best known for being a stay-at-home mom of 3 athletic boys and turning thrift shop finds into fashionable DIY projects. She has a degree in advertising from the University of Texas at Austin and spent time in the real world working in advertising and marketing, but she found her niche after becoming a mom and refinishing her firstpiece of furniture.
DIY STENCILED BASKETS Here's a quick craft you can do with minimal effort (and maximum results!). DIY BUNNY SPRING SIGN March 21, 2018 By Cat Elsby Spring is here, finally! I actually went outside today with a short-sleeved shirt on: It was amazing! I hope that this weather keeps up, but I heard a little rumor that it will be getting colder again before it gets warm for a while. I hope that isn’t a case, I’m a summer girl through and through. Enough with these boots and gloves, give me some flip flops and bathing suits! It’s Cat, from The Rustic Willow again, by the way. Today I’m sharing an adorable spring project with you! I decided it was time to take my Valentine’s Day decorations down and start decorating for spring. That’s when this little signwas born.
BURLAP VALENTINE’S DAY PLACEMATS February 11, 2018 By Katie Stahl Hello, everyone! I hope you’re staying warm wherever you are! We’re enduring the cold (and trying to embrace it) up here in Minnesota, but inside … we’re moving on from Christmas. The reds and greens are slowly being replaced by more neutral items … with just a touch of pink thrown in for Valentine’s Day! Yes … _I know, I know_ it may be rushing it a bit, but the hints of pink get me just a teeny tiny bit excited for Spring. It’s Katie from View From The Fridge , and I’m back this month with a fun way to set a festive (or even romantic??) table for Valentine’s Day (or really any day) with theseBurlap Placemats:
