On May 20th, we were joined Angelica Salas, the Executive Director of CHIRLA, the Coalition for Humane Immigrant Rights for the fourth in our series of community Zoom conversations, aka “Town Halls 2.0.” Angelica is a state and national leader on immigration reform whose advocacy efforts helped spur the creation of the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program and passage of the Dream and Promise Act of 2019 in the US House of Representatives.
