Josée is an Algonquin First Nations multi-disciplinary artist who was born in Ottawa and raised mostly in Toronto. Lisa attended Neptune Theatre’s Professional program, and George Brown Theatre School where she studied Acting and Performance Studies. Lisa has also been an arts educator for many years, in subjects of acting, comedy and musical HUFF 2017 - NATIVE EARTH PERFORMING ARTS A Native Earth Performing Arts Production by Cliff Cardinal Huff premiered at Aki Studio as part of Native Earth’s 2015 season. In 2016, Huff had an enormously successful nine-city national tour, followed by an international tour in 2017 to Australia and England, with an additional stop in Manitoba.Two-time winner and four-time nominee for the Dora Mavor Moore Awards, Native Earth’sMICHAELA WASHBURN
Michaela is a Métis artist of English, Irish, French and Cree descent. Hailing from the prairies, Michaela is now based in Tkaronto. Lisa attended Neptune Theatre’s Professional program, and George Brown Theatre School where she studied Acting and Performance Studies. Lisa has also been an arts educator for many years, in subjects of acting, comedy and musical HUFF 2017 - NATIVE EARTH PERFORMING ARTS A Native Earth Performing Arts Production by Cliff Cardinal Huff premiered at Aki Studio as part of Native Earth’s 2015 season. In 2016, Huff had an enormously successful nine-city national tour, followed by an international tour in 2017 to Australia and England, with an additional stop in Manitoba.Two-time winner and four-time nominee for the Dora Mavor Moore Awards, Native Earth’s WELCOME KEITH BARKER, NEW ARTISTIC DIRECTOR Keith Barker is originally from Northwestern Ontario and has worked in professional theatre for 16 years. He has had a decade-long relationship with Native Earth, which began as an Artistic Associate in 2007 with past Artistic Director Yvette Nolan. Braman. Born in Lander, Wyoming, Ronald R. Braman is an enrolled member of the Eastern Shoshone Tribe, Wind River Indian Reservation, Fort Washakie, Wyoming.
