THE PARTNERSHIP
The Partnership. We were formed in 2006 with the purpose of building a globally competitive economy in our 11-county region. We were created to unify, collaborate, and promote Northeast Indiana life and business while upholding the traditions and compassionate nature of our citizens, and embracing inclusivity and openness. And although we’reINTERSTATE ACCESS
Now, as Vision 2020 evolves into Vision 2030, we are still advancing this work with the help of strategic partners, like the Regional Chamber of Northeast Indiana and Conexus Indiana.. We know that great cities have great transportation systems, which is why the Regional Opportunities Council (ROC) added regional interstate access as one of the priorities of Vision 2020 in 2011. MAKE IT YOUR OWN MURAL FEST The Northeast Indiana Regional Partnership, in collaboration with Arts United of Greater Fort Wayne Inc., launched Make It Your Own Mural Fest in Northeast Indiana and Fort Wayne in early 2020 and hosted the 11-day festival in September 2020. The Northeast Indiana arts community is creating an arts-centric region that will advance quality of life and cultural growth. From galleries and exhibits to fancy galas to hands-on workshops, you’ll find the creative outlet you need to balance the workday routine. 2. We have a campus dedicated to arts and a district rich with culture. EVENTS, FAIRS AND FESTIVALS In our smaller communities, you’ll find quaint and charming First Friday events that feature arts, live music, and local food. In Fort Wayne, our region’s largest city and the second-largest city in Indiana, you can enjoy a different festival nearly every weekend during the summer. 8.
