1931 – 2021. Giannino Siben was born in Santa Barbara on March 14, 1931 and returned to Eternal Life with his Lord on May 1, 2021. After attending local schools, he attended Woodbury College majoring in Business Administration and after his commencement, he served his country in the military stationed in Italy during the Korean War. HALLIG, SEBASTIAN KLAUS HALLIG, Sebastian Klaus. Sebastian Klaus Hallig, 22, passed away unexpectedly April 17th, 2021, in Santa Barbara, CA. He is survived by his twin sister Soleil Hallig, mother and stepfather Beatrice and Nicolas Michel. His stepsisters Alexandra and Laetitia Michel, half-brother Oskar Hallig and uncle Markus Grimm and his grandmotherJutta Mosimann.

Born in Munich, Germany on January 19th, 1964 and moved to Santa Barbara, California when is was 2 years old, he was a true Santa Barbarian. Ken attended and graduated from Santa Barbara High School in 1982, and received his AA after. TABATA, MIYOKO "MIYO" TABATA, Miyoko “Miyo”. Miyoko “Miyo” Tabata was born September 5, 1920 in Oxnard, CA. She and her two brothers attended local schools and graduated from Oxnard High School. Before having children, her father owned and operated the Blue Bird Cafe on Main Street in Ventura before eventually selling it to open a grocery/soda fountain storeJAHNKE, BETTY LOU

Earlier this week, it was UCSB closing its campus and the school’s athletics teams going fan-less. Today, those teams were told to pack it up for the season. Absolutely brutal for those that have put in thousands of hours of SIX NEW COVID-19 CASES REPORTED Six new cases of COVID-19 were reported by the Santa Barbara County Public Health Department on Monday. No deaths were reported. Monday’s report brings the total number of confirmed cases thus far to 34,541, with 34,057 recovered, 451 deaths and 33 still infectious.YELLOW TIER IS HERE
To reach the yellow tier, the county maintained an adjusted case rate of less than two cases per every 100,000 residents, a testing positivity rate of less than 2% and less than 2.2% positive tests for the health equity quartile. SULLINS, Betty. Betty Ann (Cooper) Sullins, 94, went home to be with the Lord December 28, 2020. She was born July 28, 1926 in Washington, D.C., the daughter of Earl W. and Jessie L. (Rogers) Cooper. Betty had one sister, Ellen, who was five years older than her, who died in1996.

Earlier this week, it was UCSB closing its campus and the school’s athletics teams going fan-less. Today, those teams were told to pack it up for the season.
