WHAT IS HUMAN TRAFFICKING? Sex trafficking is the crime of using force, fraud or coercion to induce another individual to sell sex. Common types include escort services, pornography, illicit massage businesses, brothels, and outdoor solicitation. Labor trafficking is the crime of using force, fraud or coercion to induce another individual to work or provide service. Common CONNECTING YOUTH TO JOBS ACT OF 2021 Connecting Youth to Jobs Act of 2021 Carrie Kovalick. The Connecting Youth to Jobs Act will create living-wage employment opportunities for young people, with an emphasis on youth facing barriers to employment and historically disadvantaged youth. To prevent and end youth homelessness in America our young people must have broad access to HOMELESS CHILDREN AND YOUTH ACT, S. 1469 Homeless Children and Youth Act, S. 1469 NN4Y. Senators Feinstein (D-CA) + Portman (R-OH) + Baldwin (D-WI) reintroduced the Homeless Children and Youth Act (HYCA) on April 29, 2021. This bill would change how HUD defines homelessness so that more children and youth are able to access the housing assistance that they need. SUMMARY: AMERICAN RESCUE PLAN Summary: American Rescue Plan. “WE DID IT! This bill moves us forward in our work to prevent and end youth and young adult homelessness with the inclusion of two of our priorities, $800 million for youth experiencing homelessness to the U.S. Department of Education and the extension of the Earned-Income Tax Credit for homeless and foster youth.
