Going past the individual remembrance, a group reconstruct its past to give it a specific meaning. Other authors have shown the multiple forms of collective memory. Also, collective memories of different groups can be inconflict and
WHY DO BELARUSIANS GO TO WESTERN COUNTRIES TO STUDY According to statistics, Belarusians tend to leave their country to study in Western countries. They also seem to prefer European universities. Belarusian authorities are doing everything to encourage students to study "at home". But how is this care expressed? There are 500 students in academia for each 10 000 dwellers in Belarus. This is one of the highest ratios in Europe. EUROPEAN CITIZENSHIP: BETWEEN INCLUSION AND EXCLUSION European Citizenship: Between Inclusion and Exclusion. The European citizenship, created in 1993, has been conceived as a way to legitimise the European project and to bring it closer to its peoples. However, by doing so, it has neglected non-Europeans residing in the continent. Since the beginning of the European project, one has triedto link

Collective Memory in Europe. By Patricia Gautier | November 4 2017. 2017 is not only the 500th anniversary of the Reformation. After 5 long years of recession (which included a change in Westminster from a Labour to the first coalition government since WWII of the Conservative Party and the Liberal Democrats), dissatisfaction with politics is high, populism thrives and identity politics is ripe - not only in Scotland that may leave the UK after the referendum thissummer.

China and Hungary seem to live a honeymoon state. Business, as well as political interests, characterizes the current situation. Budapest wants China to consider Hungary as the gateway to Europe, and from Hungary, they can then further expand their presence regionally.
»PAGES
