This announcement was closely followed by Federal Court of Australia consent orders on CONFLICT OF INTEREST GUIDELINES 5 altering the employee’s duties so they are no longer performing the role which may potentially put them in a conflict situation allowing the employee to continue in the same role but for the Office to implement appropriate safeguards which address the real or apparent conflict of interest asking the employee to dispose of their financialinterests.

He was held without charge for 12 days. The Haneef case attracted enormous media attention and public interest. In March 2008, the Hon. Our service is a free and confidential way for Defence members and former members to report serious abuse for those who feel unable, for whatever reason, to access Defence’s internal mechanisms.
