ACHIEVE | PACT
The USAID Adolescents and Children HIV Incidence Reduction, Empowerment and Virus Elimination project, or ACHIEVE, is a five-year global effort to reach and sustain HIV epidemic control among pregnant and breastfeeding women, adolescents, infants and children. ACHIEVE currently works in Burundi, Dominican Republic, Namibia, Nigeria, Rwanda, South Sudan, Tanzania and Zambia. The OUR CORE VALUES: RESPECT, INTEGRITY AND INCLUSION Pact's three core values are respect, integrity and inclusion. We believe it is essential that each of our staff members applies these values not only internally but also externally when working with donors, partners and the communities we serve. In this video, we showcase a series of voices from a range of our staff and projects in Myanmar, focusing on what these values mean to them and their PACT GLOBAL MICROFINANCE FUND Since 1997, when Myanmar was a closed society under military dictatorship, Pact, with the support of UNDP, has been making small loans to the country’s rural poor to help them build their incomes and improve their lives. Pact’s longstanding microfinance operations in Myanmar were turned over in 2012 to the new government-licensed entity Pact Global Microfinance Fund (PGMF) as a result ANTI-TRAFFICKING POLICY Combating Trafficking in Persons Policy Effective Date: February 2017 This policy supersedes all previous policies related to combating trafficking in persons. WORTH | HOME
WORTH is an award-winning micro-banking program that empowers women to lift themselves and each other out of poverty. WORTH’s unique model brings women and older girls together in groups of 20 to 25 to save money, access credit and start small businesses. Unlike micro-lending and many other development programs, WORTH provides no capital or seed money. Members are required to make CAPACITY DEVELOPMENT Pact recently launched a new set of capacity development tools based on what is known as Capacity Development 2.0. This framework involves methodically embedding programmatic efforts in a larger local systems approach. This begins with delineating, mapping and analyzing relevant systems. Pact and its partners then co-create action and change PACT GLOBAL MICROFINANCE FUND Since 1997, when Myanmar was a closed society under military dictatorship, Pact, with the support of UNDP, has been making small loans to the country’s rural poor to help them build their incomes and improve their lives.
