Today is the day!! It’s #NationalTrailsDay! Although this
day only comes around once a year, what it stands for is a part of our mission 365 days a year. This day signifies our belief that safe and beautiful hiking trails should be available to everyone whether it’s an urban trail, mountain hike or down by the coast. We strive to advocate for easier access, more inclusive hikes and protecting the environment in ourcommunities.
We hope you are able to get outside and enjoy a trail today! And remember there are so many different ways you can show your support by sharing a post, volunteering, or exploring our passages...Happy hiking!__

Corps members gain professional skills in leadership, teamwork, conflict resolution, and problem solving while also networking with seasoned professionals in the field of conservation and land management. Does it sound too good to be true; are you wondering if the program is as beneficial as we say it is? Numbers speak for themselves- 100% of this year’s Fall Crew chose to extend their service into anotherterm.
When asked what was gained from serving with the Palmetto Conservation Corps, one member said the following: > “The Corps has given me skills, certifications, and experiences > that will undoubtedly help me in the job market once I complete my > term of service. However, the crew mates I serve alongside and the > supervisors I learn from have become the best part of my experience. > I have gained friends and mentors that will last a life time.”Learn more
