Pyramid Atlantic Art Center offers studio internships for enthusiastic and serious-minded college or recently graduated art students. Our interns assist resident artists, renters, artistic staff, with printmaking, papermaking, and book arts projects, and in outreacheducation programs.

We have 18 private artist studios in the new location, located on three levels (ground, second and mezzanine). Studios size ranges between. 136 to 237 sq. ft, lease for $235-$500 a month and have 24 hour access. Snag It! is an arts enrichment program geared towards young adults living, studying, and working in Prince George's County. Snag It! offers these young adults opportunities to explore the handmade practices of printmaking, papermaking, and book arts through our artist-led workshops for FREE.. Registration is required and spots arelimited.

PRIVATE STUDIO ARTISTS Rachel Egen. Studio 2A. Rachel Egen is a painter who works primarily in oils but also gouache, watercolor, charcoal, pastel, and ink. From New York, she has studied at the Art Students League and, in DC, the Washington Studio School. Her interests include figure studies, interiors, and plein air painting. SCREENPRINTING 101; JUN 20, 10AM-4PM An In-Studio Workshop! Interested in learning the basics of screenprinting? Screenprint is an artistic, yet economical method, for producing prints from digital or hand-drawn designs. This workshop will prepare you to work independently in the darkroom and studio. You will learn how to prepare images, expose your screen, and print a single color (layer) with water-based inks on paper.*
