Their quest is to fill the fabled Art Center's corridors with maps of record, both literaland figurative.

The work, mainly comprised of depictions of the human figure enveloped in plants and other instinctive flora, is vibrant and often playful. Pyramid Atlantic Art Center offers studio internships for enthusiastic and serious-minded college or recently graduated art students. Our interns assist resident artists, renters, artistic staff, with printmaking, papermaking, and book arts projects, and in outreacheducation programs.

EXHIBITIONS
Featuring work by: John James Anderson, Irene Chan, Wesley Clark, Nick DeFord, Tim Hutchings, Zofie King, Casey Jex Smith, and Andrew Wodzianski From across the land, an adventuring party of cartographers assemble at the entrance to Pyramid Atlantia. Their quest is to fill the fabled Art Center's corridors with maps of record, both literaland figurative.

Pyramid Atlantic Art Center's Keyholder Residency is a competitive opportunity for emerging to mid-career artists who want to have unlimited access to the studios in exchange for working 4 hours a week for Pyramid Atlantic. The residency is awarded to artists who hope to gain more knowledge and improve theirskills
ARTIST STUDIOS
We have 18 private artist studios in the new location, located on three levels (ground, second and mezzanine). Studios size ranges between. 136 to 237 sq. ft, lease for $235-$500 a month and have 24 hour access. All private studio artists are required to sign an annual leasing agreement and a code of conduct agreement.SNAG IT! PROGRAM
Snag It! is an arts enrichment program geared towards young adults living, studying, and working in Prince George's County. Snag It! offers these young adults opportunities to explore the handmade practices of printmaking, papermaking, and book arts through our artist-led workshops for FREE.. Registration is required and spots arelimited.

Pyramid will offer the opportunity to two apprenticeships a year: $500 seed money to create a marketable “Pyramid exclusive” item for the PAAC gift shop and 40% of sales of said product. work for PAAC 4 hrs/week. Typical tasks include support in areas of exhibitions, SCREENPRINTING 101; JUN 20, 10AM-4PM An In-Studio Workshop! Interested in learning the basics of screenprinting? Screenprint is an artistic, yet economical method, for producing prints from digital or hand-drawn designs. This workshop will prepare you to work independently in the darkroom and studio. You will learn how to prepare images, expose your screen, and print a single color (layer) with water-based inks on paper. NATURAL CONNECTIONS: EXHIBITION OF WORKS BY ROSE JAFFE Hyattsville, MD—In a new series of etchings, monoprints, and sculptural works, Rose explores what a deep connection to nature looks and feels like. The work, mainly comprised of depictions of the human figure enveloped in plants and other instinctive flora, is vibrant and often playful. NATURAL CONNECTIONS opens Friday, April 16th online andin person.
