TUTORIAL: QUARTER-SQUARE TRIANGLES (QST) Tutorial: Quarter-Square Triangles (QST) - Quilting Gallery. Quarter-square triangles (QST) can be made with two, three or four different fabrics. For the third year, our friends at American Patchwork & Quilting are hosting this fun event, and inviting sewists from around the world to participate.; Teal Mini Swap for Ovarian Cancer Research-I'm excited to share with BREEZY BEGINNER'S SAMPLER QUILT The Breezy Beginner’s Sampler Quilt contains 13 traditional quilt blocks set in either a standard layout or an on-point layout.. This is truly a Beginner’s Quilt as the first 10 blocks are no more complicated than creating half-square triangles. The remaining three blocks up the complexity level a little. By: Juditzsuzsanna, Belgium. This Wall Hanging is an applique quilting project which has 13 owls, flowers and leaves appliques. BLACK AND WHITE QUILTS Quilt size: width: ~30" height: ~24". Jane’s Black and White Quilt. By: Angie, North Carolina, USA. The quilt was made using Rachel Griffith’s Full Swing pattern, using a variety of black and white fabrics on a Kona White background. TUTORIALS: HOW TO BIND YOUR QUILTS BY MACHINE OR HAND By picking up on the darker hues in the quilt itself, the binding serves it’s framing function perfectly. Making the binding, machine sewing it to the front, mitering the corners and then hand sewing it to the back may seem intimidating but I’ve provided a step-by-step tutorial with photos. You can access it here: How to Bind a Quilt. IMPROVING QUILTING ACCURACY AND QUILT-ALONG CUTTING The Aiming for Accuracy quilt-along (QAL) was held in the Summer/early Fall of 2013.
