He is a graduate of Douglas McArthur High School, and has an Associate’s Degree in Business Science form Delta College. A TRULY SPECIAL SEASON • ARTHUR HILL’S 1973 VARSITY The year was 1973. Gas was $0.39 a gallon. The Sears Tower in Chicago is finished, becoming the world’s tallest building. CBS sold the New York Yankees for $10 million to a 12-person syndicate led by George Steinbrenner. The U.S. involvement in the Vietnam War ends with the signing of the Paris Peace Accords. Skylab, the United States’ first space station, is launched. THE MONGRELS ON TOUR The Mongrels: Tim Avram, singer, guitarist; Shane Swank, drums; Charlie Klein, guitar, singer; Joe Balbaugh, bass guitar, singer.. It was fourteen years in the making but The Mongrels have finally found the raison d’etre for slogging through the highways and the back woods to score a little respect. The original band consisted of Chris Phillips, Matt Nyquist and Tim Avram: Chicago, THE FOUR SEASONS: THE GENUINE IMITATION LIFE GAZETTE The Four Seasons were an unstoppable hit-making machine juggernaut blending teen pop anthems with adult themed MOR orchestral rock. In the early sixties they ascended to the top of the charts with their simple pop arrangements, romantic adult lyricism and glorious four part harmonies led by the soaring falsetto of Frankie Valli. WONDERFULLY MADE: THE ANTHONY AND DAVIDA ARTIS COLLECTION Proud to be from Flint and ‘hometown bred’, Anthony & Davida Artis began collecting fine African-American artwork back in 2009. Eleven years later, today their collection now totals more than 70 works - mostly prints, but also watercolors and drawings. According to the couple, their focus is upon collecting artwork with themes of faith, family, and faces - the ‘Three F’s’ - as AFTER THE CAGE • WORLD PREMIER SCHEDULED FOR COURT THEATRE This World Premier of After the Cage, along with a special Meet & Greet with all the stars is set to happen on Saturday, March 13th at 4:00 PM at The Court Theater in Saginaw. VIP tickets are priced at $100 and includes the film premier, a meet & greet with each of these superstars, signed photo opportunities, popcorn, drink and raffleprizes

The death is attributed to complications from a severe spinal cord injury Smith suffered after falling from a fence at his home in Spain in 2003. Along with his brother Scott, 20 years ago Mike formed the undeniably entertaining 4-piece musical concoction known as Empty Pockets, performing at clubs & festivals throughout the region while MIKE SMITH THE VOICE OF THE DAVE CLARK FIVE REST IN PEACE Mike Smith, lead singer and keyboard player for the Dave Clark Five died of pneumonia on the night of February 28th. The death is attributed to complications from a severe spinal cord injury Smith suffered after falling from a fence at his home in Spain in 2003.
