SALU SALO RECIPES
Hi, I'm Liza and welcome to my blog. Salu-salo is a Filipino word that means getting together with friends and family to eat. I am not a cook by profession, but I spend GOAT CURRY (INDIAN STYLE CURRY) Goat is a popular meat to use in Asian, African, Middle Eastern, Indian and Caribbean cuisines. It is leaner and has less cholesterol and fat than pork and beef. BAKED SOLE WITH LEMON In a small bowl, whisk together oil and lemon juice. Pour into a 13X9 glass baking dish. Add fish and coat each fillet with the lemon-oilmixture.
RED RUSSIAN KALE WITH GARLIC AND LEMON This red Russian kale with garlic and lemon recipe is a simple yet healthy side dish. It consists simply of red Russian Kale and sauteed with garlic and drizzled with lemon juice. EBI SUNOMONO (JAPANESE SHRIMP SALAD) Cut the cucumbers into thin slices. Sprinkle with 1 teaspoon of salt. Set aside for 5 minutes. Rinse to remove salt, and drain. Cook the noodles in boiling water until just tender (around 5 minutes). QUICK EGG AND MUSHROOM FRIED RICE First, the mushrooms were cooked with the aromatics (green onions, ginger and garlic). Then, the cooked rice and peas were mixed in. The beaten eggs were added to the center of the pan and cooked through before mixing with the rice mixture, soy sauce, oyster sauce, Srirachaand sesame oil.
PARMESAN CRUSTED CHICKEN THIGHS I found this recipe here about a year or so ago and it’s my go-to recipe for chicken thighs. I use olive oil instead of butter, as the first time I made it with melted butter, it just congealed into a solid again on the thighs and my big bowl. CRISPY KOREAN FRIED CHICKEN WINGS Heat a large non-stick skillet or wok over medium high heat. Add the olive oil, and garlic; cook for 30 seconds or until fragrant. Add soy sauce, honey, vinegar, mustard and brown sugar; stir and cook for 2 minutes or until sugar dissolves. GOMAE (JAPANESE SPINACH SALAD) Gomae (or Gomaae) is one of those dishes that my family likes to order when eating at Japanese restaurants. Gomae is a Japanese style spinach salad that is dressed with a sesame dressing. CHINESE BROCCOLI (GAI LAN) WITH MINCED GARLIC This Chinese broccoli - or Gai Lan- with garlic recipe is so easy to make. This dish is a side dish that pairs well with any pork, beef orchicken dish.
