Here’s what’s new in version 1.0: Indeterminate connection types Initially, connection types were organised exclusively around POSTS 2 POSTS: VERSION 1.4 Improved UI When you need to create connections, there’s now a link that reveals the connection candidates. This saves vertical space when you’re doing something else in the post editing screen. When you found the item you want to connect to, you can now click anywhere in WP-PAGENAVI: VERSION 2.74 Notice that, in both cases, I included the ‘paged’ parameter.Without it, you would see the same posts on all pages. ‘smaller’ and ‘larger’ classes. Each link has now an additional ‘smaller’ or ‘larger’ class, depending on where it is, in relation to the current page. FRONT-END EDITOR: VERSION 1.3 A new release with a lot of small but noticeable improvements: Two new editable fields In version 1.3, you can also edit your site’s title and description. You won’t go changing those very often, but it’s nice to know you can. :) Skinable WYSIWYG editor The rich text editornow

First of all, I’ve trimmed down the default pagenavi-css file so that it integrates better WP-PAGENAVI: THE RIGHT WAY TO USE QUERY_POSTS() First rule of using query_posts(): don’t. Use the ‘request’ filter instead. Ever since I’ve taken over development of the WP-PageNavi plugin, I keep seeing people opening support topics like this: “PageNavi doesn’t show the correct posts” “Page numbers don’t work with PageNavi” etc. Most of COLIN POWELL ON LOYALTY Colin Powell on Loyalty. When we are debating an issue, loyalty means giving me your honest opinion, whether you think I’ll like it or not. Disagreement, at this stage, stimulates me. After finding out how to make sortable columns based on custom fields, several people have asked how they could sort posts by taxonomy terms. So here’s how to do it: Let’s presume we have a ‘product’ post type, with a ‘color’ taxonomy. Here’s some example code, just to get that out of the way. 3D MAPS USING D3 AND THREE.JS Implementation. From a topojson file, the geographic data for each county is projected to a 2D path using D3. This path is then converted to 3D geometry using d3-threeD and extruded based on the census data.
