David Sifry. November 6, 2010. Photography. Woo Hoo, just hit 150,000 miles in my trusty 1995 Toyota 4Runner. Still a great vehicle, still fun to drive. The only significant repairs I've had to do on it was a blown gasket about 30,000 miles ago. She's an old friend. David Sifry. Dave Winer and others disagree, and there's a bunch of other interesting conversations going on as well. What's interesting is that both Clay and Dave are right, depending on how you look at things. Dave sees the world from the microeconomic point of view - it is really easy to create new IS 10 YEARS REALLY THAT BAD? I've been following the interesting blogversation between Doc Searls, Dave Winer, Larry Lessig, and Charles Cooper surrounding Larry's proposal to reduce the copyright of software to 10 years, and to hold source code in escrow so that it can be released after the 10 year copyright is over. One point kept niggling at me, which was the proposition that Charles and Dave made that a 10 yearSOMETHING I WANT

Today I'm going to cover the growth of the blogosphere as media, and discuss some of the emerging trends that deal with handling information overload.
