Methods: A retrospective cohort study included 247 SCD pediatric patients between January 2016 and December 2018 at the Maternity and Children Hospital, Department of Pediatrics, Al Medinah Al Munawarah, Saudi Arabia. EFFECTIVENESS OF PRESURGICAL NASOALVEOLAR MOLDING THERAPY Objectives: To evaluate the effectiveness of pre-surgical nasoalveolar molding (PNAM) in patients with unilateral cleft lip nasal deformities. Methods: This was a retrospective study involving 29 patients with unilateral cleft lip and palate defects, of whom 13 were treated with palatal devices with nasal stents (PNAM group) and 16 were treated with palatal devices without nasal stents or SUCCESSFUL PREGNANCY IN A PATIENT WITH TAKAYASUS ARTERITIS This report describes a case of Takayasus arteritis in a 19-year-old Palestinian female. She conceived after diagnosis. Her pregnancy was complicated by uncontrolled hypertension, which was not associated with other markers of disease activity. CO-EXISTENCE OF LIP AND EPIGLOTTIS KIMURA’S DISEASE2 Kimura’s disease is a rare, chronic inflammatory condition of unknown etiology; with a predilection in the head and neck region. However, the involvement of the lip and epiglottis is extremely rare, and poses a diagnostic challenge.
