SNORKELING IN DOMINICAN REPUBLIC Snorkeling Dominican Republic’s Atlantic coast The Atlantic coast of the country is known for its harsh currents and rough waters. Snorkeling can be practiced there only at some specific locations, particularly in the Samaná Peninsula. While Punta Cana, at the eastern tip of the island, features the longest reef on the island, snorkeling is generally SNORKELING IN MARTINIQUE The Anse Figuier seabed, with sergeant majors swimming above rocks, sponges, and coral.. The region of Sainte-Anne, also in the south, is undoubtedly the most touristy in Martinique. The West End and West Bay area, in the west of the island, is the hotspot for snorkeling in Roatán. West Bay reef, healthy and easily accessible from the beach, is just unmissable. SNORKELING IN SIETE PECADOS, PALAWAN Siete Pecados is the name of a group of 7 small rocky islets laying a few hundred meters off Busuanga Island’s coast. This spot is one of the most popular in Palawan, and the easiest to get to from Coron town. The coral reefs surrounding the islets are among the healthiest in the region, even though they are visited by crowds of snorkelersdaily.
