The CXV, or Crew Transfer Vehicle, is a second-stage orbital spacecraft capsule from t/Space, launched from underneath a carrier craft such as White Knight Two. CXV is carried into orbit on a booster rocket. The return journey consists of a de-orbit burn, re-entry and parachute-assisted splashdown and recovery.SPACE FUTURE

Space Future - Launch Vehicle Design. INTRODUCTION. For many many people space tourism and even colonisation are attractive ideas. But in order for these to start we need vehicles that will take us to orbit and bring us back. Current space vehicles clearly cannot.SPACE FUTURE
Space Tourism is the term that's come to be used to mean ordinary members of the public buying tickets to travel to space and back. Many people find this idea futuristic. But over the past few years a growing volume of professional work has been done on the subject, and it's now clear that setting up commercial space tourism services is a realistic target for business today.SPACE FUTURE

SPACE FUTURE JOURNAL Even without serving as a science lab, the ISS is very important to space tourism and long-range space exploration (humans exploring Mars, etc.). This is because the ISS itself is the experiment: an exercise in hands-on learning about how to live and work (and play) in space for months and even years. The station’s crews are still battling equipment problems and suffering from the short-termSPACE FUTURE
In addition to a number of social benefits, commercial passenger space travel seems to have the potential to serve as a catalyst for launch cost reduction. This is the key to exploiting the space frontier for the benefit of Earth, through making new space projects such as solar energy from space economically attractive.SPACE FUTURE

Importantly, and contrary to what many people assume, the space agencies are not at all interested in space tourism, and are not trying to bring it about.SPACE FUTURE
