She has taught architecture, urban design, industrial design and architectural history at a number of schools throughout the United States, exploring new models for design exploration and implementation through a systems approach. It’s about systems: 0.1 Everything is part of an ecosystem.There is nothing that is not part of a system. The divide we make between the “natural” and the “artificial” (or “cultural” – e.g. human made) is not a HOW DO WE ENGAGE WITH OUR ENVIRONMENT? Project History. The Pitzer Multi-Species Commons is the outcome of a year and a half collaboration between Pitzer Students and the ecological design collective SPURSE (2013 - 2015). HOW DO WE ENGAGE WITH OUR ENVIRONMENT? Acorn Bread. Ingredients: 1 cup acorn meal, ½ cup cornmeal, ½ cup whole wheat flour, 3 tbsp olive oil, 1 tsp salt, 1 tbsp baking powder, cup honey, 1 egg, 1 cup milk. HOW DO WE ENGAGE WITH OUR ENVIRONMENT? Elderberry, Mexican. Other common names: Desert Elderberry, Southwestern Elderberry. Sambucus mexicana, Family: Caprifoliaceae.
