The show, run by the Manitoba Arts Network (MAN), displays the work of 56 artists from the Central, Eastman, Interlake, Northern, Parkland andWestman regions.
MANITOBA ALLIANCE OF POST-SECONDARY STUDENTS SEEKS At the most recent UMSU board meeting Feb. 11, the board outlined the approach that the Manitoba Alliance of Post-Secondary Students (MAPSS) will take in lobbying the members of the Manitoba legislatureregarding Bill 33.
MAKING CONNECTIONS TO AND THROUGH DANCE This work features an ensemble of Winnipeg dancers and collaborations with Susan Chafe and Hugh Conacher. Bailie is known for creating complex abstract works and will also be giving an artist talk after the April 25 matinee. Also included in WCD’s subscription series are two self-created solos, by Linnea Swan and Sara Porter, on a sharedprogram.

Telegram has been used by students to communicate with each other since before the U of M made the switch to remote learning but, since then, the messaging app has seen a rise in usage. According to one student in her second year, Telegram has only enhanced her university experience. UMSU TO VOTE ON SUPPORT OF RESPONDUS MONITOR UMSU has come out with a list of recommendations to the university in response to the use of Respondus Monitor in courses.. Respondus Monitor is an anti-cheating software that uses students’ webcams to record and remotely proctor exams.. UMSU vice-president advocacy Kristin Smith said she first learned about the U of M’s pilot of Respondus Monitor in July. WINNIPEG’S RECYCLING SITUATION PAINTS TROUBLING PICTURE Winnipeg’s recycling situation paints troubling picture. We live during a time when caring for our environment is a topic at the forefront of our social consciousness as we come to terms with the reality of issues such as climate change.
