Letters of Hope This year, on 2020 International Peace Day, bereaved Israeli and Palestinian parents wrote letters to children they lost due to the conflict. They are left with their memories, their empty rooms, and a drive to make sure that no one else suffers the same loss and pain. No more deaths. NoROBI DAMELIN

The Parents Circle Families Forum invites anyone who has lost a family member due to the conflict, to join us.EVENTS & ACTIVITIES
The PCFF holds many activities and events to promote reconciliation and peace The events and activities take place in Israel, Palestine and overseas Through its years of operation, the PCFF has extended its activities in creative ways, to spread its message, expose the pain of bereavement, and the heavy toll THE ISRAELI-PALESTINIAN MEMORIAL DAY CEREMONY 2020 The 15 th Israeli-Palestinian Memorial Day Ceremony took place on April 27, 2020 and was the most different and unique to date. The COVID-19 crisis dictated a new reality and forced us to change the ceremony, to shift from the open air park to the closed studio. 200,000 people watched the ceremony from all over the world, including thousands of viewers from Gaza and tens of thousands from theWOMEN'S GROUP
The Parents Circle Families Forum Women’s Group was born out of a need to express and bring forth the voice of the women in our orgnization. This group has gained momentum and strength since its foundation. Its aim is to equip women from both side of the conflict to acquire an authoritative voice and a real say in any futurereconciliation

Muhammad joined the Parents Circle Families Forum in 2005 out of a sense of calling. Thanks to his command of the Hebrew language, he took part in the Forum’s dialogue meetings in schools and universities in Israel, as well as dialogue meetings on thePalestinian side.

The meetings are led by two PCFF members, an Israeli and a Palestinian, who tell their personal stories of bereavement and explain their choice to engage in reconciliation instead of revenge. Letters of Hope This year, on 2020 International Peace Day, bereaved Israeli and Palestinian parents wrote letters to children they lost due to the conflict. They are left with their memories, their empty rooms, and a drive to make sure that no one else suffers the same loss and pain. No more deaths. No OUR STAFF - PARENTS CIRCLE FAMILIES FORUM Mohammad Albaw lives in Halhul in Hebron. He is married and has four children. Muhammad joined the Parents Circle Families Forum in 2005 out of a sense of calling. Thanks to his command of the Hebrew language, he took part in the Forum’s dialogue meetings in schools and universities in Israel, as well as dialogue meetings on thePalestinian side.

The meetings are led by two PCFF members, an Israeli and a Palestinian, who tell their personal stories of bereavement and explain their choice to engage in reconciliation instead of revenge. No to Violence and Despair, Yes to Dialogue and Hope RESUMING DIALOGUE AT THE PEACE SQUARE The fighting in Gaza, the rocket fire on towns and the violence between Jews and Arabs in Israel and the Territories must stop. We are launching a unique endeavor – The Virtual Peace Square for Dialogue, Reconciliation and Peace. Every evening, from Tuesday, May 18th, from 18:00-19:30, we will gather at the Peace Square (on ZOOM and on the PCFF Facebook page) with bereaved Israeli and Palestinian families and guests from diverse disciplines for a conversation on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, the polarization in Israeli society, relations between Jews and Arabs in Israel and more. The sessions are open to everyone, registrationnot required.

Flowers of Hope for International Women's Day INTERNATIONAL WOMEN’S DAY 2021 24 Israeli and Palestinian women from the Parents Circle – Families Forum present a dried flower to the Vice President of the United States, Kamala Harris, in honor of International Women’s Day, onMarch 8th.
Every women dried a flower in the name of their lost loved one, and glued it into a hand-made album. Added to this gesture is a letter with a message of hope, that the Biden administration will revive negotiations between Israelis and Palestinians.*

Sharing Sorrow, Bringing Hope WATCH THE 2021 JOINT MEMORIAL DAY CEREMONY Watch the 2021 Joint Memorial Day Ceremony. This year we held The Israeli-Palestinian Joint Memorial Day Ceremony for the 16th time. As we do every year, we met in the place where personal memories and longing succeed in overcoming fear and creating a shared act of compassion – thus marking a new path towards a future in which we won’t have to live by our sword, and instead, we could look at a better future for all. The ceremony was watched by close to 250,000 people from Israel, Palestine and around the world. We also invite you to watch the Zoom sessions that dealt with memory, fear, the ceremony itself, and the connection between them.*
An ecological awareness day connected to the soil “TU BESHVAT” PEACE OLIVE PLANTING, JANUARY 2021 The bereaved Palestinian and Israeli members of The Parents Circle – Families Forum will mark this day by planting 10 Olive trees both in the West Bank near Hebron and in Kibbutz Ramat Rahel , near Jerusalem. Each of these trees is dedicated to an Israeli or a Palestinian immediate family member who lost their life in the conflict and whose family belong to the group. Each year we intend to celebrate Tu BeShvat in this way until we can create a forest of reconciliation andpeace.

Feminenza Project
SECONDARY TRAUMATIC STRESS DEVELOPING RESILIENCE Feminenza has worked in community & youth-based settings for 15 years, providing reflective education and support to post-conflict, traumatized, and disadvantaged communities; to grassroots community-based organizations (CBOs), NGOs, providers of community social support, education, and health organizations, youth and community workers. PCFF is 1 of the 23 groups, from 12 countries, participating in the program, designed by the Trauma Healing Community Resilience Development (THCRD), and funded by the Erasmus program ofthe EU.
