Armed with a few recipes, an inexpensive camera, and the vague knowledge that I needed to use WordPress, I pushed the publish button with reckless abandon. Since then, I’ve upgraded my camera, sharpened my knife skills, and OVEN ROASTED TOMATOES WITH OLIVE OIL Sprinkle generously with sea salt. Brush with lots of extra virgin olive oil. Roast in 250º F oven for 2-5 hours depending on the size of the tomatoes and desired doneness. Rotate the baking sheets every hour or so for even cooking and caramelizing. Once cool enough to handle, pack into clean mason jars and cover with olive oil. CARROT & GINGER JAPANESE SALAD DRESSING Carrot and Ginger Gluten Free, Vegan, Japanese Salad Dressing. Somewhere between celebrating my birthday at Farrell’s Ice Cream Parlour and celebrating in a night club, there was a magical period where birthdays only meant one thing. MULLED RED WINE JELLY A #DIY HOLIDAY GIFT Pour one cup of wine into a large saucepan over medium heat. Add cinnamon, orange, bay leaves, and peppercorns. Bring to a boil, the lower heat and simmer until liquid is reduced by half. Add remaining wine and ½ cup of sugar. Simmer for 10 minutes then strain through afine mesh sieve.
