Milk Bar Truffles, Reindeer Crunch, a fabulous cheese board, and my favorite idea for gathering -- a portable movie . GOD'S GREAT GRACE (AND A JOKE!) St. Peter says, “Here’s how it works. You need 100 points to make it into heaven. You tell me all the good things you’ve done, and I give you a certain number of points for each item, depending on how good it was. When you reach 100 points, you get in.”. “Okay,” the man says, “I was married to the same woman for 50 years andnever
HOW TO MAKE MAGICAL POPOVER ROLLS Preheat oven to 450 degrees. Grease a popover tin (you can use a 12-cup muffin pan, too) In a large bowl, whisk flour and salt. In a separate bowl, whisk eggs, milk, and melted butter. LA BANDERA: A TRADITIONAL DISH FROM THE DOMINICAN REPUBLIC Instructions. Chop up the onion and celery in chunks. Peel the garlic but leave whole and tie up the parsley into a knot. Heat up the oil and add the onions, garlic and celery until the onion starts getting brown. Add the beans and the parsley. Next, add 1/2 tbs of CRISPY OVEN BAKED POTATO BITES Add potatoes and boil 8 minutes. Drain potatoes into a colander. Melt butter and olive oil in the cooking pot. Pour drained potatoes back into pot. Add garlic salt and pepper. Stir until the potatoes are coated. Place potatoes skin side up on parchment lined baking sheet.Bake for
BRUSSELS SPROUTS IN CAST IRON SKILLET Pre-heat oven to 400 degrees. Heat olive oil in cast iron skillet over medium-high heat. Arrange trimmed brussels spouts cut side down in cast iron skillet. Careful they will sizzle! Cook until the bottom of the sprouts are browned, about 2-4 minutes. Toss in sliced almonds and gently stir (or shake) the pan to mix up the brussels sprouts. HOMEMADE CHICK-FIL-A NUGGETS In a large bowl, whisk the egg and milk. Add the chicken to the egg mixture, stir to combine. Cover and marinate for 3-4 hours. Add tomatoes and broth, bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer 30-40 minutes. Remove from heat and allow soup to cool slightly. In a small sauce pan heat the butter, sugars and pecans until melted and well combined. Sprinkle the pudding mixture evenly over the rolls. Pour the melted butter, sugars and pecans over the rolls. WHAT TO DO WITH LEFTOVER CHIPOTLE PEPPERS IN ADOBO SAUCE Place each leftover pepper on the paper. Add a generous spoonful of adobo sauce to cover each pepper. Put baking sheet with peppers in the freezer for 30 minutes to an hour, until peppers and sauce are frozen. Remove each frozen chipotle pepper and sauce from baking sheet. Gently wrap each pepper in torn pieces of the parchment paper. POLENTA & ITALIAN SAUSAGE GRAVY In a bowl, combine cornmeal, cold water, and salt. In a Dutch oven, bring 5 cups water to boil. Add the oil and stir in cornmeal mixture. With a wire whisk, beat the cornmeal until thick, about 5 minutes. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly with a wooden spoon for 30 minutes. When polenta is the consistency of cream of wheat, cover the BRUSSELS SPROUTS IN CAST IRON SKILLET Pre-heat oven to 400 degrees. Heat olive oil in cast iron skillet over medium-high heat. HOW TO MAKE MAGICAL POPOVER ROLLS Preheat oven to 450 degrees. Grease a popover tin (you can use a 12-cup muffin pan, too) In a large bowl, whisk flour and salt.
