We were honored to host 750+ business leaders, educators, civic officials, and nonprofit professionals for conversations about race and equity in the workplace in the wake of the Covid-19 pandemic. Participants from 97 cities in 27 states across the country gathered to learn about ways to encourage COHORTS | TOM TOM FOUNDATION Cohorts offer opportunities for community leaders to intersect with their peers in new, creative ways—and to workshop ideas for the future. The 2020 Danville/Pittsylvania Cohort convened 14 emerging leaders to move the region through and beyond the pandemic. Build issue awareness. Catalyze strong relationships.2022 FESTIVAL

Tom Tom’s public art initiative activates underused, unexpected spaces throughout the city to infuse art and creativity into everyday life. These public installations extend the creative spirit of Tom Tom beyond the duration of the Summit & Festival andserve as
UNITED WAY EVENT SERIES Exposed, a virtual event series built in collaboration with the United Way of Greater Charlottesville gathered more than 1700 participants over the course of a 7-week series that highlighted inequities revealed by the COVID-19 pandemic as well as local partnerships andSOUTHSIDE COHORT
The cohort provided a space for emerging leaders from Southern Virginia to serve as learners and contributors in the innovative and engaging environment present at the Cities Rising Summit. In conjunction with Tom Tom’s Cities Rising Summit, the cohort explored key questions raised at selected panels and presentations.CITY ART BUS
2019 Jaunt Bus:Craig Snodgrass. The second winning design for the fifth annual City Art Bus competition was created by Craig Snodgrass. Snodgrass is a Staunton-based painter, illustrator, web developer, and self-proclaimed “robot fighter.”. His design features a series of exploratory robots roaming a MISSION | TOM TOM FOUNDATION The following year, the Tom Tom Foundation — a 501 (c)3 nonprofit organization — was formed to steward the event and expand its focus to a fuller suite of themes required to make flourishing, opportunity-filled hometowns. In the decade since, we’ve experimented with dozens of program formats and events; from Festivals, to Summits, to GIVE | TOM TOM FOUNDATION By becoming a Sustained Supporter, you’ll help us continue to unite civic leaders, entrepreneurs, artists, and engaged citizens around a shared vision for their cities.
