Located in Portland’s Kenton neighborhood, Argyle Gardens is the first modular housing project permitted by the City of Portland, and the second large-scale modular housing project in the city. The four-month program combines 40 hours of mental health, addictions, and social services curriculum with 200 hours of supervised internship in Transition Projects’ programs. Mentors are formerly homeless individuals with lived recovery experience who bring unique insight and empathy to the traumas of poverty and homelessness.
