ESPHOME INTERFACE FOR DSMR P1 DATA PORT esphome yaml. This is derived from Marcel Zuidwijk's "ESPHome powered P1 meter", and modified to draw the graph on the OLED.The main difference is that the esp32 includes a built-in inverter in the UART hardware, so the external inverter in Marcel's design is not required, although I did require a simple capacitor signal filter due to noiseon the data line.
VECTREX - TRAMMELL HUDSON'S PROJECTS Vectrex Vectrex. I've converted a Vectrex to an Vector display and am driving it with a Teensy 3 plus an SPI DAC. Using a modified version of MAME, I'm able to write the vectors to the Teensy over USB, which generates 12-bit lines using Bresenham's line algorithm and DMA to transfer the points to the DAC. This provides a nearly glitch free way to display the games and artwork. SLEEP ATTACK: INTEL BOOTGUARD VULNERABILITY WAKING FROM S3 Many OEMs seem to select the "immediate shutdown" option, although there some choose "do nothing" and push validation elsewhere, which can lead to its own set of vulnerabilities.During a S3 resume, the CPU starts up in the same way. The ACM is copied from flash into cache and validated by the CPU hardware, then the ACM checks to see if the system has started from a cold boot or if it has V.ST - TRAMMELL HUDSON'S PROJECTS V.st v.st boards. This is the high-speed DAC that is used to generate the analog voltages for vector displays. In the current form it has four analog outputs, X/Y/Z/W, with 12-bits each and a swing from -12 to +12 volts for X/Y and 0-5 volts for Z and W. MAME - TRAMMELL HUDSON'S PROJECTS MAME. These are the instructions for building MAME to be able to output the line art from classic Atari (and other) vector games to a vector display, such as the Vectrex or Tek 1720 using my V.st quad-DAC boards. It is similar to the Zektor ZVG, but works with USB instead of ancient parallel ports and supports the current (late 2015) MAME source instead of the 0.96 release from 2005. BOOTGUARD - TRAMMELL HUDSON'S PROJECTS Bootguard. This page attempts to document what I've found about the modern era of CPU bootstrap and how we can use it to make slightly more secure systems. Most discussion of the boot process assume that the CPUs startup exactly the same as they were in the 1970s, which is only sort of true. The legacy reset vector at 0xF:FFF0 is no longerthe

SPISPY: OPEN SOURCE FLASH EMULATION Here is a video in real time flashing a new firmware with spispy. The new image is loaded in 12 seconds, with the speed limited only by the USB-CDC-ACM bandwidth. We could improve this since our RAM speed is hundreds of megabytes per second, although our bottleneck will be theUSB 2.0 speeds.

PENROSE GAME
Penrose game Penrose tile game. My Penrose tile game is a very abstract version of Carcassonne in which players take turns placing the two rhombus tiles in such a way that the lines match up with the pieces already placed. The goal is to make complete loops. The rules are still being developed, so this describes one possible variant.Skip to content

THUNDERSTRIKE is a proof-of-concept EFI firmware rootkit for Apple's MacBooks that I wrote while researching boot-time security on these popular laptops. First announced at 31C3 in Hamburg, partially fixed by Apple in Yosemite 10.10.2. I collaborated with Xeno Kovah and Corey Kallenberg on Thunderstrike 2 , a software-only extension to the original vulnerability, that was presented at Blackhat / DEFCON 2015.
I reverse engineered the firmware in the Canon 5D Mark II and started the Magic Lantern project that is now an open system for writing extensions that run inside Canon's DSLR and mirrorless cameras. I've extended MAME to work with vector displays and presented vector retrogaming at 32nd Chaos Communication Congress . This can also be used to make replica arcade cabinets using vector displays like the Vectrex . I designed the LEDscape "cape" for the BeagleBone Black's programmable realtime unit (PRU ) for driving RGB LED strips or matrices. I've used it in several LED art pieces, Cubescroller , Octoscroller and the Mini Pyramid , and other people have used it in many of their ownart projects.
PROJECT CATEGORIES
