CURTISS A — TWIN/TONE RECORDS Curtiss A is a musician and visual artist from Minneapolis. One of the original artists on the Twin/Tone Records label, he performs one of the most popular shows in the Twin Cities, an annual tribute to John Lennon held at First Avenue.. Curtiss formed Wire, his first Twin Cities band, in 1969 and played with various permutations of that group through the 1970s.SAFETY LAST

In 1995 Peter moved to Los Angeles to work his Medium Cool projects through a west coast-based company that had licensed several back catalog titles from Twin/Tone. Some like the Jesters’ “Run,Run,Run” and the Underbeats’ “Foot Stompin’” became regional favorites in a day when radio made local hits possible.One, the Castaways’ “Liar, Liar” reached number 12 national and today is considered a classic.THE PISTONS
Straight forward raunchy guitar/ piano rock-n-roll with roots in all the right places. The Pistons became somewhat of an institution in the Minneapolis rock scene when "She Got Sex," their first recording (on Big Hits III) was a local hit.Music that moves and makes you wannadance.
