UKSG exists to connect the knowledge community and encourage the exchange of ideas on scholarly communication. It is the only organisation spanning the wide range of interests and activities across the scholarly information community of librarians, publishers, intermediaries and technology vendors. YouTube. The term ‘decolonizing the curriculum’ is of high currency in higher education in the UK and in local students’ unions at these institutions. Since its launch in 2010, the OAPEN Library has made peer-reviewed books and chapters available in open access (OA). 1 By February 2021, the collection had grown to 14,500 books and over 700 chapters. Starting in June 2013, IRUS-UK provided us with COUNTER Release 4 compliant usage data for the OAPEN Library. 2 The Library passed the ten million downloads mark in TRANSFORMING LIBRARIES IN MYANMAR: THE ELIBRARY MYANMAR The development of the higher education sector depends on academic libraries.
