RAILROAD UPCYCLES
The resulting railroad upcycles are more than just functional, they effectively serve as uniquely crafted works of art. Most of the railroad upcycles made by Rail Yard Studios are custom built. The historical, century-old railroad steel comes mainly from track renovations in the southeastern U.S. The hardwood timbers are sourcedfrom suppliers

REPURPOSE OLD PICTURE FRAMES Here’s our top 21 ideas for how to repurpose old picture frames. 1. Table Organizer. This is a lovely way to declutter your desk. These pallet letters are what we would call a moderate level upcycle. To make them you will need: a jigsaw, nails, pallets boards or reclaimed wood, wood glue and a piece of plywood. To begin dissemble the pallet by removing the boards. Then cut the boards down the middle so that your boards are approximately 2 1/2 inches wide.| UPCYCLE THAT

These pallet letters are what we would call a moderate level upcycle. To make them you will need: a jigsaw, nails, pallets boards or reclaimed wood, wood glue and a piece of plywood. Jerry Can Luggage. Attention gas and petroliana fans, the humble jerry can has now been upcycled! Presenting you with jerry can luggage, the ultimate traveling accessory. Jerry cans were originally designed in the 1930’s in wartime Germany. Made from pressed steel, these bad boys could hold 20 litres of fuel. VERTICAL PALLET PLANTER Step 5 – After the pockets are in place, wrap the bottom and sides of the pallet like a present. This will create pocket 7. The pic below shows off the present wrapping. Step 6 – You can now stand stand your vertical pallet planter up against a wall and put soil in the pockets. Step 7 – Fill your planter up with plants and flowers.RAILROAD UPCYCLES

DVD MOSAIC METHOD
Dab glue onto the backs of your DVD tiles and arrange them into a pretty pattern. Remember to mosaic your edges as well. Once your tiles are dried and secure it’s time to add grout. Spread the grout and then use a damp rag to wipe away the excess. PALLET PATIO IDEAS TO UPCYCLE YOUR SUMMER Pallet tub table. This pallet tub table is a coffee table that also keeps your drinks cold! Rupert Blanchard is a designer, maker and collector. He moved to London in 1999 to do a graphic design course at St. Martins and quickly discovered that the streets were paved “not with gold, but with rubbish”. Rupert Blanchard started salvaging finds and upcycling them into gorgeous, industrial-style furniture. VINTAGE CUTLERY REUSE Vintage Cutlery Reuse. This project used 1×3″ and 1×2″ finger board. Rebuild your cabinet doors by cutting rails, stiles and grooves. Drill pocket holes for your rails and fasten the joints to the door panels. This is where the DIY kitchen island really starts coming together! Paint and prime the doors and install them at the bottom of the island with hinges.| UPCYCLE THAT

We used a piece from an old lamp. 4. Strip the ends of your electrical wire and thread it through the lamp neck. 5. These pallet letters are what we would call a moderate level upcycle. To make them you will need: a jigsaw, nails, pallets boards or reclaimed wood, wood glue and a piece of plywood. To begin dissemble the pallet by removing the boards. Then cut the boards down the middle so that your boards are approximately 2 1/2 inches wide.
