VEGAN GREEN AVOCADO SMOOTHIE Instructions. Peel and slice banana, and put into a blender. Cut avocado in half, scoop out the meat with a spoon and add to blender. Add also a cup or a handful of baby spinach, 1/2 cup yogurt (we used coconut yogurt) and juice of half a lemon. Pour in about a cup of water (more if you want a thinner smoothie). TOMATO SOUP FROM FRESH RIPE TOMATOES Bring to a boil, then lower the heat and cook for about 15 minutes. When the tomatoes are cooked, remove the pot from heat, then remove the bay leaves and blend into a smooth soup with a stick blender. Roughly chop basil leaves and add to the soup for taste and garnish,add a
DETOX SPINACH GREEN SMOOTHIE Peel bananas and apple, cut into slices and put into a blender. Wash spinach leaves and add to blended. Squeeze juice of 1 lime (can be replaced with orange or lemon) into the blender. Add water as needed. Blend until smooth and serve. VEGAN RASPBERRY CREAM CAKE Preheat fan oven to 160°C / 320°F (regular oven to 180°C/356°F). Grease a round cake baking tin (diameter about 20 cm/8 inch). In a bowl, mix together the dry ingredients: flour, cacao powder, baking powder, salt and sugar. In a separate bowl, mix oil and soy milk. Add wet ingredients to dry ingredients and mix well to combine. SPAGHETTI IN TOMATO SAUCE WITH BACON Pour water in a big pot, add a pinch of salt and bring to a boil. Then, add pasta and cook according to instructions on the package (about 8 minutes or until al dente). Meanwhile, heat a pan to medium, then add bacon strips and fry on both sides until crisp. Remove from pan and place on a plate, lined with paper towel to drain the fat. EASY HOMEMADE BAGELS {DAIRY-FREE} In a bowl, mix flour, dry yeast, salt and water. Then, add apples, spices and water as needed and HEALTHIER PAN FRIED FALAFEL {VEGAN} To make Pan Fried Falafel, add the ingredients to your food processor: first, the roughly chopped onion, whizz it up then remove. Add chickpeas, parsley and seasoning, grind it roughly, then add onions and crushed garlic cloves to the mixture, mix, add half the flour with baking powder, mix and then add the remaining flour as needed. VEGAN LENTIL STUFFED PEPPERS In a separate pot cook white rice in salted water - bring to a boil, lower the heat and simmer for just about 10 minutes. The rice must be only partially cooked.
