O.J. Watson Park was dedicated on May 22, 1965, it is one of the largest parks in the City of Wichita park system. Prior to development, the site was four sand pits. The beautiful 119 acre site offers a rustic setting which includes a 40-acre lake for fishing, picnicking, and rental pedal boats and kayaks. The golf tournament is on the path to the PGA Tour and features some of the best golfers in the world competing in multiple events on a challenging course with many 3- to 5-par holes.
