To register on the Volunteering Zone your organisation must have volunteer roles that are based in Scotland and take place in 3 or more local authority areas. VOLUNTEERING TRENDS IN SCOTLAND Findings: Overall levels of volunteering have been declining - from 31% in 2010 to 28% in 2017. The majority (72%) of people are not currently volunteering, with 49% of people having never volunteered. A core group of volunteers (19%) contribute the majority (65%) of allvolunteer hours.
