ICAI is the largest academic integrity community in the world with 1,500+ professionals and educational organizations as members JOURNAL ISSUE SPOTLIGHT: CANADIAN PERSPECTIVES ON ACADEMIC The recent issue of Canadian Perspectives on Academic Integrity, an open-access journal you can find here, focused on perspectives and experiences during Covid-19.. The issue will be helpful to academics and integrity practitioners for many reasons. First, it establishes how common and widespread our challenges and experiences have beenduring Covid.
OUR HISTORY
The International Center for Academic Integrity (ICAI) began at a March 1992 conference hosted by Donald McCabe of Rutgers University to discuss the results of McCabe’s 1990 survey of academic integrity at 31 schools. The survey had revealed troubling data concerning the extent of cheating and the attitudes surrounding it. NEW RESEARCH: EXPLORING ACADEMIC INTEGRITY AND MENTAL Sarah Elaine Eaton, PhD, is a faculty member in the Werklund School of Education, University of Calgary. Her research interests and expertise focus on academic integrity. The International Center for Academic Integrity (ICAI) began at a March 1992 conference hosted by Donald McCabe of Rutgers University to discuss the results of McCabe’s 1990 survey of academic integrity at 31 schools. The survey had revealed troubling data concerning the extent of cheating and the attitudes surrounding it.
