The Barrels is an 18th Century coaching inn that is formed partly from the old city wall and is one of the last multi-roomed pubs in Hereford. A down-to-earth drinking establishment, The Barrels was the brewery’s home for many years. It attracts an eclectic clientele who come for the lively, friendly atmosphere and, of course, excellentbeer.
BUTTY BACH FROM WYE VALLEY BREWERY Butty Bach is a Welsh term meaning ‘little friend’ – and this charmingly smooth premium ale has certainly made more than a few friendships in its time. We brew it using Maris Otter and Crystal malts together with locally grown Fuggles, Goldings and Bramling Cross hops. With such fine ingredients, no wonder it remains a firmfavourite.
THE PELICAN
The Pelican serves Wye Valley Brewery’s full range of beers together with guest ales from other brewers. Ten real ales are always available on the bar, as well as at least ten proper ciders and perries. No draught lager is sold! It also holds a beer festival every February and June. Opening Times. Open Daily 11.00am - Midnight. Call. 01452 HPA FROM WYE VALLEY BREWERY HPA is an easy-going real ale that brings people together. Our brewers have let locally grown Target and Celeia hops hang out with Maris Otter pale malt to give this understated brew its pale straw colour, citrus hop aroma and a balanced bitter finish. 8 × 500ml. bottlesFrom £24.50.
THE BRITANNIA
The Britannia's striking end-of-terrace Victorian facade certainly belies the tranquil and spacious garden and airy bar you'll find when you visit; but like all of Wye Valley Brewery's pubs, you can expect a good choice of our ales, as well as a great selection of food offerings.
