Hi, Guitarlings!
Why does guitar education still seem to lag behind the times? There’s a ton of free information out there. But unlike other subjects, where one can skim, learning an instrument requires dedicated practice. Unfortunately, TIME WASTED STUDYING THE WRONG THINGS cannot be recovered. I established the organization that was to become Hub Guitar in 2011. Every day I went to my job at Berklee’s online learning initiative, teaching private guitar lessons after work. And when I got home, I would chip away at creating what is now Hub Guitar. After a few years of this grueling schedule, I realized that I had a higher calling to respond to, and that I needed to find a way to dedicate all of my energy to it. So I left my job. I packed a few things in a bag and bought a plane ticket to Bangkok, Thailand, and began a 14-month journey around theworld.
In that time, my team and I have built Hub Guitar into a complete resource with over 500 lessons containing live band recordings, professionally produced videos, thousands of example images— all focused on STUDYING FUNDAMENTALS, building your guitar foundation oneblock at a time.
Hub Guitar’s goal is to give you professional-quality guitar lessonsfor FREE.
