A disturbing trend surfaced in the last year across the construction industry, regrettably involving iron-workers at a higher rate—a startling increase in deaths related to suicide. Eligibility in the IMPACT Maternity Program is available to Journeyman and Apprentice Iron Workers whose work is defined by the bylaws of the International Association of Bridge, Structural, Ornamental and Reinforcing Iron Workers.The Ironworker Management Progressive Action Cooperative Trust (IMPACT) provides paid maternity leave (“Paid Maternity Leave”) to female Iron Workers (“Members SUPERINTENDENT TRAINING The Superintendent Training for Ironworkers course uses a combination of online self-study and group-based training to develop the next generation of ironworker superintendents. Participants learn the roles and responsibilities of a superintendent and how to manage project schedules, information, people, the job site and safety.
