Recently, my ’13 Accord needed new half shafts due to inner joint wear causing a bad wobble during acceleration. CIVIC STEERING RACK SWAP Civic Steering Rack Swap. If you are into auto crossing, road racing, or would just like to have a more responsive civic, you need to swap in the Integra’s faster ratio steering rack. This article specifies the ’92-’95 Civic platform. This is the only platform that the ’94-’01 Integra steering rack will fit. There is TOYOTA COROLLA REAR SEAT AND STRUT REMOVAL First, you need to remove the rear seat bottom. With the seat bottom out of the way, you will have access to three bolts that hold the seat back in place. Remove the bolt on the bottom of the seat back by the passenger side door. Remove the bolt on the bottom of the seat back by the drivers side door. Remove the bolt in the center of the seat back. USING HONDA'S VALVE ADJUSTING TOOL 17mm box wrench. Honda’s Valve Adjusting tool (helpful on B-block VTEC’s) Feeler gauge (.006″ for the intake valve and .007″ for the exhaust valve on a B18C1) Start by turning the front wheels to the left. This will give you adequate clearance to reach the main crank bolt. Remove the spark plug cover (B-block, H-block VTEC’s) Pull the NISSAN SPEEDOMETER REPAIR Small clamping pliers. Remove the 4 screws surrounding the plastic circle. After removing the screws, the speedometer can be removed. Before you can remove the circuit board, you will need to remove the 4 screws, marked in yellow, and unsolder 4 posts, marked in red. Once you’ve removed the solder and screws, you can remove the board.BRAKE FLUID BASICS

Once the shift knob is off, you will need to remove the center console. The only difference between installing a short shifter in a ’88 civic, ’95 civic, ’98 Integra, or a ’00 civic is the way the center console is removed. Usually, it is very self explanatory. USING HONDA'S VALVE ADJUSTING TOOL 17mm box wrench. Honda’s Valve Adjusting tool (helpful on B-block VTEC’s) Feeler gauge (.006″ for the intake valve and .007″ for the exhaust valve on a B18C1) Start by turning the front wheels to the left. This will give you adequate clearance to reach the main crank bolt. Remove the spark plug cover (B-block, H-block VTEC’s) Pull the HOME MADE POLY URETHANE ENGINE MOUNTS Home Made Poly Urethane Engine Mounts. July 11, 2013. This is a result of torn or damaged engine mounts or by mounts that are too soft (think liquid filled). 240SX STEERING WHEEL SWAP Remove them. Remove the glove box and then remove the 3 screws that hold down the metal frame. Remove the knee bolster under the steering wheel. Remove the metal plate (4 bolts) that is under the steering wheel. Once that is out of the way, remove the two large bolts that hold the steering column in THE DEFINITIVE 300ZX BRAKE SWAP Roughly 11.6″ vs the stock 10.2″ rotor. Impressions. I can say, without a doubt, that the swap made a significant improvement in braking performance!PORSCHE 928

Recently, my ’13 Accord needed new half shafts due to inner joint wear causing a bad wobble during acceleration. TOYOTA COROLLA REAR SEAT AND STRUT REMOVAL Lastly, remove the three upper mount nuts and remove the strut. At this point, swapping the shocks or the spring is as simple as using a spring compressor and dismantling the strut. CIVIC STEERING RACK SWAP With everything out, this ends up being a very easy project. Once you have the sub frame out of the vehicle, you can swap the rack. If you are swapping to power steering from a non-power steering rack, you will notice that the sub frame doesn’t have the correct holes for the new bracket on the passenger side. 240SX STEERING WHEEL SWAP You may want to disconnect the battery and wait about 15-30 minutes before you start this process. You risk having the airbag deploy and cause serious injury if you don't disconnect the battery.
