Germaine Acogny had opened the Mudra Africa School, the precursor to École des Sables, with the great help of Maurice Béjart. In 2004, she collaborated with Japanese choreographer Kota Yamazaki to merge Buô, a traditional dance from the land of the rising sun, with contemporary African dance in Fagaala, a piece inspired by the Rwandan genocide.. She has also worked together with African RETOUR À REIMS (RETURN TO REIMS) BY DIDIER ERIBON Retour à Reims is the first part of a diptych entitled Le Cycle du retour (The Return Cycle), the second part of which, La Société comme verdict (The Society as a Verdict), appeared in 2013.Described as a "sociological bestseller" by France Culture, the essay sold more than 65,000 copies. In particular, he inspired Edouard Louis, who decided to write his novel En finir avec Eddy Bellegueule ÉRIC MINH CUONG CASTAING Coming from the world of film animation, the choreographer Éric Minh Cuong Castaing combines dancers and new technologies in his works, examining our perceptions of bodies and their apprehension in dealingwith these tools.

From the age of 12, she developed a passion for photography and got her first job two years later as an assistant to the Turkish photographer Dora Gunel.
