Both battalions of Tanks Brigade took part to Finnish - German Lapland War (September 1944 - April 1945), but neither KV-1 or PzKw IVJ saw real combat use in this war. With its massive swamps and forests combined with very limited road network thoroughly demolished and mined by the retreating Germans, using of tanks proved more thandifficult.
