GAMES THAT TEACH THANKFULNESS Here are 7 Games (or fun activities) we have used for helping to cultivate the habit of thankfulness: 1. Thankful Hands – Write one thing per finger that the child is thankful for. {click link for a full post on this activity}. 2. Thankful Seat – Have one child sit in the “thankful seat” and everyone else share one or two things that they are thankful for about that child. THE HABIT OF ENCOURAGEMENT; OBJECT LESSON I used this object lesson with the boys this week to illustrate to them how much impact a little bit of encouragement can have on a person. In trying to figure out the easiest way to explain it I thought it would translate best through a simple video demonstration.
