K24A4/K20 BUILD
Heres some quick pics of the A4 head and rocker arms. Then pull the oil pan and pump off. Tied up the rocker assembly and pulled it off. Block with head off and A4 pistons. The plugs are starter, knock sensor, and I think either oil pressure switch or coolant HONDA BEAT WITH K20, POSSIBLE? ENGINE: 656cc 3 Cylinder 12 Valve MTREC Injection. 64 BHP @ 8100rpm. 44 Lb ft @ 7000rpm. Average 40-50 MPG. 0-60 MPH < 10 Seconds. Top Speed 87 MPH Limited Electronically. GEARBOX: 5 Speed Manual FullSyncromesh.
RBB HEADS | HONDA / ACURA K20A K24A ENGINE FORUM Best way to know if you have an 04-05 or 06-08 RBB head is by measuring the intake valve head diameter, checking the camshafts, and checking circle year stamp. Though, year stamp and the 36mm intake valves are pretty much a dead giveaway of an 06-08 head. 35mm = 04-05 K24A2 (and also all K20A heads) 36mm = 06-08 K24A2 (instant deadgiveaway)
SELECTING THE BEST TURBO FOR MILD K24/K20 BUILD Hi guys I'm done getting the motor together and I'm about to buy a turbo. I'm having an issue picking out of these 4 turbos and would like input. Turbo's I'm looking at. 1. Garrett t367 HO 2. Garrett T3/GT40 3. Garrett T60-1 4. Precision SC61 Here is a simple mod list of my motor setup. I'm HOW MUCH KNOCK IS ACCEPTABLE? 1st: small amount of knock over an hour is fine. 2nd: any amount of knock is unacceptable for a healthy car. 3rd: Knock at a low rpm of below 3000 is ok. 4th: With high ron and low compression, low knock count is ok.. 5th: during dyno, a knock count of below 10 is normal. Results: Vtec will not engage before 2200rpm, and the map sensor must read above 90kPa (heavy throttle) in order for VTEC to engage. HIGHEST HP BOLT-ON K SERIES Anyhow, I don't think times is a clear indication of power due to different weights, track conditions and driver. But I agree with Jeff. Once you reach 240whp with stock k24a or 230 with stock k20a, it is time to be happy with what you have or start upgrading the cams, pistons, rods, and so on Like I have said before, K series motors have WHICH K SERIES IS BEST FOR BOOST The best combination for good power and good torque would be the k20/k24 head and block combination. k24a2 (tsx-short block), and k24a1 (accord long-block). I think the k24a1 accord block is taller and hence has better piston/valve clearance if you plan on running the vtc beyond 40 degrees. You most likely will have to build the block toCARS FOR SALE

REMOVING THERMOSTAT ON A ROAD RACING CAR, GOOD OR NOT unless you have an electric water pump and a realy big efficient radiator, don't remove the thermostat. Heres some quick pics of the A4 head and rocker arms. Then pull the oil pan and pump off. Tied up the rocker assembly and pulled it off. Block with head off and A4 pistons. HIGHEST HP BOLT-ON K SERIES Anyhow, I don't think times is a clear indication of power due to different weights, track conditions and driver. But I agree with Jeff. Once you reach 240whp with stock k24a or 230 with stock k20a, it is time to be happy with what you have or start upgrading the cams, pistons, rods, and so on Like I have said before, K series motors have WHICH K SERIES IS BEST FOR BOOST The best combination for good power and good torque would be the k20/k24 head and block combination. k24a2 (tsx-short block), and k24a1 (accord long-block). I think the k24a1 accord block is taller and hence has better piston/valve clearance if you plan on running the vtc beyond 40 degrees. You most likely will have to build the block toCARS FOR SALE

My K20Z3 Integra Build: Best time was a 12.42 @ 111MPH 1.6 60' with the setup I listed below on 94 octane. Car made 227 whp. Weighs 2480lbs with driver. REMOVING THERMOSTAT ON A ROAD RACING CAR, GOOD OR NOT unless you have an electric water pump and a realy big efficient radiator, don't remove the thermostat.
