Thomas, age 86, passed away peacefully at his home with his family at his side on Jan. 28, 2019. Robert (Bob) was born in Mt. Angel, on July 4, 1932 to Lawrence and Clara (Schmitz). Thomas and had four sisters and one brother. OBITUARIES – PAGE 27 – KEIZERTIMES by Admin. T. Thomas. Ted Thomas of Keizer, Oregon passed away on May 26 after a one-year battle with a rare and aggressive cancer. He was 65. Ted leaves behind his loving wife of 42 years, Kathy, his son, Matthew, and Matt’s wife, Bethany. He is preceded in OBITUARIES – PAGE 30 – KEIZERTIMES October 13, 2011 by Admin. D. Herring. Donald Gene Herring, of Keizer, passed away on October 6, 2011 at the age of 79. He was born October 16, 1931 in Hatfield, Arkansas to Herman “Hank” and Effie Mae (Hastings) Herring. Don and his family moved to the Salem area in 1936. He graduated from Salem High School in 1951. HOA SETTLES SUIT FOR $300K A family suing the McNary Estates Homeowners Association (HOA) for discrimination against their developmentally disabled daughter settled the suit for $300,000 last week. The amount will be paid by the HOA’s insurer. While the settlement did not require an admission of fault or responsibility, the family’s attorney, Dennis Steinman,said
