(May 14, 2021) – In March, the Kansas Hospital Association emailed hospital CEOs and CFOs, the materials necessary to complete the 2020 AHA Annual Survey. The survey deadline for completion was originally May 14 but has been extended until June 15, 2021. The survey results provide information HOSPITAL PROVIDER ASSESSMENT Hospital Provider Assessment. The hospital provider assessment, created by the 2004 Legislature, generates revenues from all prospective payment system hospitals in Kansas, which are in turn matched with federal Medicaid matching funds. KHERF was established in 1969 and redesigned in 1998 as a 501 (c)3 organization. The Foundation is designed to be funded through contributions, grants and educational fees.
