ART ROOM PROJECT. Kochi Biennale Foundation introduces Art Room, an ongoing process of inculcating art practice among school children. Under this initiative, model Art Rooms will be established in schools in Kerala, starting from the regions most affected by the recentfloods.
THE REDUNDANT FACT-CHECKER: WORKSHOP WITH SARNATH BANERJEE Sarnath Banerjee is a graphic fiction writer and artist based in Berlin. His book-length publications include Corridor (2004), The Barn Owl’s Wondrous Caper s (2007), and most recently Doab Dil (2019). He has also shown widely around the globe, including at the Sao Paolo Biennale (2008), Kochi-Muziris Biennale (2014), the Sharjah Biennale(2017).

Applications are invited for the online workshop ‘Thinking Aesthetic Production in the Global South’ with Arjun Appadurai, Bonaventure Ndikung, Dilip Menon and Saloni Mathur. WORKSHOPS - KOCHI BIENNALE FOUNDATION The five participants will be engaged in an intensive workshop at Pepper House from 5th to 25th September, and will exhibit their work at the end of their stay. The participants are Subhadip Bhattacharya, Daina Mohapatra, Natasha Sachdeva, Puja Mondal and Prachee Batra. Adip Dutta, Archana Hande, Manoj Vyloor, Suresh K Nair and Vasudha Thozhur. The digital exhibition will open on 21.2.21. Their project in Kochi is conceived as a speculative research of what the future could bring, taking the form of a multi-week walk along what could become the coastline of the Lakshadweep Sea. Over the past few months, the Kochi Biennale Foundation has been discussing the COVID-19 situation with our stakeholders. Due to the continuing uncertainties and generally unfavorable conditions on-ground, it has been decided to move the opening of the Biennale to November 1, 2021. 4TH EDITION OF THE STUDENTS' BIENNALE The fourth edition is curated by a team of five artists and educators, viz. ART ROOM PROJECT. Kochi Biennale Foundation introduces Art Room, an ongoing process of inculcating art practice among school children. Under this initiative, model Art Rooms will be established in schools in Kerala, starting from the regions most affected by the recentfloods.
THE REDUNDANT FACT-CHECKER: WORKSHOP WITH SARNATH BANERJEE Sarnath Banerjee is a graphic fiction writer and artist based in Berlin. His book-length publications include Corridor (2004), The Barn Owl’s Wondrous Caper s (2007), and most recently Doab Dil (2019). He has also shown widely around the globe, including at the Sao Paolo Biennale (2008), Kochi-Muziris Biennale (2014), the Sharjah Biennale(2017).

Their project in Kochi is conceived as a speculative research of what the future could bring, taking the form of a multi-week walk along what could become the coastline of the Lakshadweep Sea.
