Similar to an ILP, before a ULP, may engage in legal practice in NSW as a law practice, it must give the Law Society at least 14 days written notice in the PRACTICE MANAGEMENT COURSE Condition 3 is a discretionary condition imposed pursuant to s 53 of the Legal Profession Uniform Law (NSW) and Rule 16(b)(ii) of the Legal Profession Uniform General Rules 2015.If a practising certificate is subject to this condition, the holder must complete a Practice Management Course (PMC) before being eligible to practise as a principal of a law practice. SUPERVISED LEGAL PRACTICE The requirement. Section 49(1) of the Legal Profession Uniform Law (NSW)(Uniform Law) imposes a statutory condition on a practising certificate issued by the Law Society's Council requiring the holder to, in this jurisdiction, engage in supervised legal practice only, until the holder has completed the period of supervised legal practicerequired.

PROBLEMS WITH THE NEIGHBOURS A person can complain of nuisance if damage is caused by a substantial and unreasonable interference with the private right to use and enjoy one’s land. For it to constitute a nuisance, the relevant activity must not be trivial or unreasonable. Examples of nuisances may include noisy animals, loud air-conditioners and interference with drainage. Under the Legal Profession Uniform Law (NSW) and the Legal Profession Uniform General Rules 2015, a law practice is required to have its trust records externally examined once in each financial year if it has received or held trust money, excluding transit money.. An external examination covers a law practice’s trust records from the beginning of April to the end of March in the following year. STATUTORY DEPOSITS CALCULATOR For example the calculator has not been designed to handle two bank accounts and any firm with two bank accounts will need to manually calculate the deposit using the notes on the website. VISITING SOLICITOR'S ROOM Our Visiting Solicitor’s Rooms are located in the Library on Level 1 of the Law Society Building and are available free of charge to members. Additional information: PRACTICE MANAGEMENT COURSE Condition 3 is a discretionary condition imposed pursuant to s 53 of the Legal Profession Uniform Law (NSW) and Rule 16(b)(ii) of the Legal Profession Uniform General Rules 2015.If a practising certificate is subject to this condition, the holder must complete a Practice Management Course (PMC) before being eligible to practise as a principal of a law practice.
