LEARN FOUR SIMPLE CHORDS TO PLAY HUNDREDS OF SONGS ON PIANO The title of this article is: Learn four Simple Chords to Play Hundreds of Songs. Those four simple chords do not have to be the 1, 5, 6, 4 chord progression. Just as the notes within chords can be rearranged, the chords themselves can be rearranged to create a new chord progression. But they’re still the same four chords. THE "RULE OF 9" TRICK TO LEARN INTERVALS The definition of the rule of 9 trick is simply this: When any interval is inverted, the sum of the ascending and descending interval adds up to 9. THE "RULE OF 9" TRICK TO LEARN INTERVALS The definition of the rule of 9 trick is simply this: When any interval is inverted, the sum of the ascending and descending interval adds up to 9. THE EASY WAY TO UNDERSTAND INTERVALS ON THE PIANO An interval is simply the distance between two notes. It tells us how far apart notes are. This is easy to see on the piano keyboard because if you have two notes, there's an interval between them. Intervals are defined by two different properties: 1 The quality of the interval. 2 The number (or value) of the interval. LEARN FOUR SIMPLE CHORDS TO PLAY HUNDREDS OF SONGS ON PIANO The title of this article is: Learn four Simple Chords to Play Hundreds of Songs. Those four simple chords do not have to be the 1, 5, 6, 4 chord progression. Just as the notes within chords can be rearranged, the chords themselves can be rearranged to create a new chord progression. But they’re still the same four chords. 3 SNEAKY CHORD TRICKS 1 Easy Major to minor 7 Trick. If you have a Major chord, you can easily turn it into a minor 7 chord just by changing one note. Let's say you have a C Major triad. Find the root note of the chord, (C) and add the note that's an interval of a minor 3rd below it (A). You now have an A minor 7 chord instantly. HAVING FUN WITH THE 1 4 5 CHORD PROGRESSION: BE CREATIVE Having Fun With The 1 4 5 Chord Progression. Things that seem boring and routine on the surface can often be looked at in different ways. This is necessary when we want to give a new perspective and new life to something that’s considered fundamental. In this case, I’m talking about the 1 4 5 Chord Progression. THREE LEGS OF THE STOOL The third leg of the stool is the kinesthetic. "Kinesthetic" ability is specifically defined as relating to a person's awareness of the position and movement of the parts of the body by means of sensory organs (proprioceptors) in the muscles and joints. HOW TO FIND THE 3 MOST USED CHORDS IN MUSIC IN EVERY MAJOR You can use a strategy such as the “tetrachord plus” pattern. It’s a simple 4 note pattern plus a whole step. You can use this method to find the primary chords in any Major key. It is necessary that you know your 12 Major chords. The “techrachord plus” is going to reveal the root of each one of these primary chords. FOUR SIMPLE RULES FOR CHANGING KEYS IN A SONG If there's one simple element that creates variety and interest in a song, it's a key change. This is known as modulation which is a change from one tonality (tonic, or tonal center) to another. It's not to be confused with transposition which is changing the key of music overall to accommodate an instrumentalist or singers voice.*
