Town Branch Commons is a transformative public-private park and trail system that traces the historic Town Branch Creek through downtown Lexington. It will be a strip of Bluegrass running through downtown. INTERSTATE 75 FATAL COLLISION INVESTIGATION The Lexington Police Department Collision Reconstruction Unit is investigating a fatal collision. Around 12.23 p.m., June 5, 2021, officers responded to Northbound Interstate 75 at the 104 mile marker for a vehicle traveling the wrong direction. Division of Enhanced 911 had received a call indicating that a dark passenger car had entered the interstate traveling the wrong direction.
