The ventilator provides oxygen to the major organs, even after the patient dies, until the family decides about donation. First-person Authorization – LifeGift will check the Donate Life Texas Registry DONOR MEDAL CEREMONY Each LifeGift region hosts an annual donor medal ceremony to honor those who offered the gift of life in the previous year.
